It is clear to us all that all travel and hospitality verticals have been strongly impacted by the current COVID-19 crisis. Everyone is trying their best to save their business and prepare for recovery.
The short-term rental industry is expected to be one of the fastest recovering travel verticals, however, we all know that the landscape will have changed tremendously by the time bookings start to return.

At AJL Consulting we have witnessed first hand that not all STR businesses are equal in front of a crisis. Some will fare better than others. During this free online conference with leading short-term rental industry experts and property managers, we share insights on how to build sustainability for your businesses, monitor your recovery, as well use this downtime to improve your organization in order to ensure your business can recover faster and become more resilient to future market fluctuations.
Below are the 9 pre-recorded sessions with industry experts that you are welcome to watch and learn from.
For each session, you are also welcome to post a question, via Sli.do (open until April 20) and we will endeavour to answer as many questions as possible at the live wrap-up event.

Colleen Boot says:
Good morning, I have listened attentively to the conference with Robin Coenen. I have being trying to build our very small business using social media over the months, using also local people to help, introducing their videos etc. Trying to be imaginative, but I feel that I am just putting a sprinkle of water on a dry desert! What is the best strategy? We are small, 25 properties. Second home owners from around the world. We are very hands on, but the team is small. I pretty much do all the marketing. Unfortunately, unless I get a loan from the bank, we are not in a position to hire professionals although I understand what you say. So what I am asking is, what can I do to give greater exposure to our business using social media? Google we work with too and has probably had the biggest impact. SEO I did/do with the webmaster. Of course he wants to do more, he gets paid well and the results are minimal. I have a professional website not done through word press. Perhaps my biggest mistake! Thanks for any input. Colleen
